As a real estate brokerage providing services to you (including, but not limited to, locating, showing, negotiating, and closing offers to rent, lease, buy, or sell real estate property), we will periodically acquire sensitive information about you.
We won't release that information to anyone except under three circumstances:
If you give us your contact information because you’re curious about one of our listings, we will provide that information, and we might follow up in the future about it. If you give us your e-mail address because you'r curious about one of our whitepapers, articles, or reports, we might send you information in the future related to that subject matter. And if you don’t want any future follow-ups, just let us know and we’ll be sure to stop.
We send these out, typically once per month, but more frequently if something awesome and cool happens that we just HAVE to tell you about. All our newsletters and other regular mailings are completely opt-in, which means you won’t be signed up for something if you don’t specifically ask to be. And we don’t use those annoying pre-checked boxes for sign-ups, either. We only want to send our newsletters to people who actually want to read them. And as usual, if you ever want to be removed from any mailing list, just let us know.
If we actually take you out to look at properties, or if we list your property, then we will follow up with you to get feedback on the process. For renters and buyers, the feedback cycle is over the course of a calendar year (3, 6, and 10 months after move-in). For owners and landlords, requests for feedback are quarterly. Why do we do this? Because we’re constantly looking for ways to improve our services, and we want to make sure you’re happy with us.
What this means is that you might get a phone call from a Trudo team member or a survey in the mail. We try to avoid sending e-mails for this; e-mails are frequently – and understandably – ignored, and we wouldn’t be doing this if we didn’t think it was worth the time to make a phone call. But as always, if you don’t want to hear from us ever again, just let us know and we’ll stop.
We don’t sell your information to third parties. We don’t even give it away for free. We keep your information exclusively inside the Trudo family.
